Rose BLAKE (1855?-1909?)

Rose BLAKE was born in 1855 (calculated) in Kessingland, Suffolk.¹ She and John George WHITING had marriage banns published on 9 December 1877 in Putney, Surrey.² On 25 December 1877 she lived in Putney.³ She married John George WHITING on 25 December 1877 in Putney. The marriage was witnessed by Arthur Alfred GRANTHAM and Emma Sarah BIGGS. The ceremony was conducted by R. Henley.^3,4 She appeared in the census on 3 April 1881 in Putney aged 25.¹ The address was: 1 Clarence Villa, 1 Pentlow Street, Putney, Surrey. On 3 April 1881 she was a Laundress.¹ She appeared in the census on 5 April 1891 in Hulme, Manchester aged 35.⁵ The address was: 4 Princess Street, Hulme, Manchester. On 5 April 1891 she was a Laundress.⁵ She appeared in the census on 31 March 1901 in Blackpool, Lancashire aged 45.⁶ The address was: 27 Healy Street, Blackpool, Lancashire. On 31 March 1901 she was a Laundress.⁶ She died on 30 July 1909 (estimated) in Putney, London aged 54.⁷ She was buried on 6 August 1909 in Putney.⁸
