Ellen Clara PELLING,^1,2 daughter of Alfred Thomas PELLING (1860?-1934?) and Mary Ann CLARK (1861-1946), was born Q2 1887 in Putney, Surrey.^1,3 She was baptised on 11 June 1888 in Putney. The ceremony was conducted by J. Kay Booker.⁴ Between 1888 and 1893 she lived in Putney.^1,4,5 The address was: 16 Sefton Street, Putney, Surrey. She appeared in the census on 5 April 1891 in Putney, London aged 4.¹ The address was: 16 Sefton Street, Putney, London. On 5 April 1891 she was a Scholar.¹ She appeared in the census on 31 March 1901 in Putney aged 14.² The address was: 35 Sefton Street, Putney, London. She died. She witnessed the marriage of William STEVENSON and Florence Mary PELLING on 4 August 1901 in Putney.⁶
