Charles CHANDLER (1864?- )

Charles Arthur CHANDLER,¹ son of Charles CHANDLER (1831?-1919) and Jane KENT (1825?-1904), was born in June 1864 (estimated) in Reigate, Surrey.^1,2 He was baptised on 15 July 1864 in Reigate.³ He appeared in the census on 2 April 1871 in Reigate aged 6.¹ The address was: Holmesdale Road, Reigate, Surrey. On 2 April 1871 he was a Scholar.¹ He appeared in the census on 3 April 1881 in Reigate aged 16.⁴ The address was: Doods Road, Reigate, Surrey. On 3 April 1881 he was a Carpenter's Apprentice.⁴ On 7 June 1890 he lived in Herne Hill, London.⁵ On 7 June 1890 he was a Carpenter.⁵ He married Elizabeth COLLINS on 7 June 1890 in Redhill, Surrey when he was 26 and she was 27. The marriage was witnessed by Levi Collins and Albert Edward CHANDLER. The ceremony was conducted by John R. Line.⁵ The address was: St. Matthew’s Church, Station Road, Redhill, Surrey.
