Sarah BETTS (1835?- )

Sarah BETTS¹ was born in 1835 (calculated) in Southwark, Surrey.¹ On 30 March 1861 she lived in Bermondsey, Surrey.² She married John CHANDLER on 30 March 1861 in Bermondsey when he was 22 and she was 24. The marriage was witnessed by William Betts and Elizabeth Mary CHANDLER. The ceremony was conducted by J. Stewart.^2,3 The address was: St. Mary Magdalen's Church, 193 Bermondsey Street, Bermondsey, Surrey. She appeared in the census on 7 April 1861 in Camberwell, Surrey aged 25.¹ The address was: 11 Marlborough Road, Old Kent Road, Camberwell, Surrey. She appeared in the census on 2 April 1871 in Lambeth, Surrey aged 34.⁴ The address was: 3 Russell Street, Lambeth, Surrey. She appeared in the census on 3 April 1881 in Enfield, Middlesex aged 44.⁵ The address was: Westmore Hall, Enfield Highway, Enfield, Middlesex. She appeared in the census on 5 April 1891 in Enfield aged 55.⁶ The address was: Lochnagar, Rowantree Road, Enfield, Middlesex. She appeared in the census on 31 March 1901 in Enfield aged 63.⁷ The address was: Lochnagar, Rowantree Road, Enfield, Middlesex. She appeared in the census on 2 April 1911 in Folkestone, Kent aged 74.⁸ The address was: 7 Waverley Villas, Cheriton Road, Folkestone, Kent.
