Charles Robert HERBERT,¹ son of Robert Hewinson HERBERT (1854-1907?) and Mary CHANDLER (1855?-1894?), was born in November 1884 (estimated) in Charlton Kings, Gloucestershire.^1,2,3 He was baptised on 14 December 1884 in Charlton Kings. The ceremony was conducted by William Morgan-Brown.² On 14 December 1884 he lived in Charlton Kings.² He appeared in the census on 5 April 1891 in Charlton Kings aged 6.¹ The address was: 7 Brevel Terrace, Charlton Kings, Gloucestershire. On 5 April 1891 he was a Scholar.¹ He appeared in the census on 31 March 1901 in Charlton Kings aged 16.⁴ The address was: 4 Hamilton Street, Charlton Kings, Gloucestershire. On 31 March 1901 he was a Grocery Assistant.⁴
