Arthur BOWERS (1882-1913?)

Arthur James BOWERS, son of George Dady BOWERS (1841-1908) and Caroline Jemima GRAY (1844-1919), was born on 24 June 1882 in Putney, Surrey.^1,2 He was baptised on 23 September 1883 in Putney. The ceremony was conducted by R.H. Fair.³ On 23 September 1883 he lived in Putney.³ The address was: 2 Labourers' Cottages, Lower Common, Putney, Surrey. He appeared in the census on 5 April 1891 in Putney, London aged 8.⁴ The address was: Wooden House, Lower Common (North), Putney, London. He was educated at Ackmar Road School from 10 April 1894 to 6 June 1895 in Fulham, London.² The address was: Ackmar Road, Fulham, London. Between 10 April 1894 and 25 December 1903 he lived in Fulham.^2,5,6,7,8,9 The address was: 69 High Street, Fulham, London. He appeared in the census on 31 March 1901 in Fulham aged 18.⁸ The address was: 69 High Street, Fulham, London. On 31 March 1901 he was a Milk Carrier.⁸ On 25 December 1903 he was a Carman.⁹ He married Rose Edith HALL on 25 December 1903 in Fulham when he was 21 and she was 21.
