Elsie Winifred STEPHENS,¹ daughter of Frederick George STEPHENS (1871?- ) and Eliza GOODING (1874?- ), was born on 12 March 1900 in Brixton, London.^1,2 She appeared in the census on 31 March 1901 in Brixton aged 1.³ The address was: 98 Effra Parade, Brixton, London. She appeared in the census on 2 April 1911 in Herne Hill, London aged 11.¹ The address was: 101 Railton Road, Herne Hill, London. On 2 April 1911 she was a Scholar.¹ On 29 January 1921 she lived in Paddington, London.⁴ The address was: 69 Kilburn Park Road, Paddington, London. She married Walter Edward STEPHENS on 29 January 1921 in Kilburn, London when he was 21 and she was 20. The marriage was witnessed by Frederick George STEPHENS and George Herbert STEPHENS.^4,5 The address was: Parish Church of Saint John, Kilburn Lane, London. She died in August 1993 in Ashford, Kent.⁶
