George GRAY (1827?- )

George James GRAY, son of George GRAY (1800?-1874?) and Lucy BARFOOT (1805-1876), was born in 1827 (calculated).1 He was baptised on 1 July 1827 in Putney, Surrey.2 He appeared in the census on 6 June 1841 in Putney aged 14.1 The address was: Lower Common, Putney, Surrey. On 8 May 1853 he was a Gardener.3 He married Harriett MATTHEWS on 8 May 1853 in Newington, Surrey. The marriage was witnessed by William Williams and Emma Matthews. The ceremony was conducted by W.G. Moore.3 He died.
