Violet GRAY (1889-1959)

Violet Valentine GRAY, daughter of Charles James GRAY (1840?-1915) and Eliza Jane GREEN (1843?-1920?), was born on 14 February 1889 in Putney, Surrey.^1,2,3 She appeared in the census on 5 April 1891 in Putney, London aged 2.¹ The address was: Alfred Villa, Sefton Street, Putney, London. Between 1891 and 1893 she lived in Putney.^1,4 The address was: Alfred Villa, Sefton Street, Putney, London. She appeared in the census on 31 March 1901 in Wandsworth, Surrey aged 12.⁵ The address was: 73 Summerstown, Wandsworth, Surrey. On 30 June 1907 she lived in Wimbledon, Surrey.⁶ The address was: 53 Hartfield Road, Wimbledon, Surrey. She married William Sidney MYRING on 30 June 1907 in Wimbledon when he was 22 and she was 19. The marriage was witnessed by Herbert Warwick Fisher and Arthur John GRAY. The ceremony was conducted by Charles Pickering Clarke.^6,7 The address was: Holy Trinity Church, The Broadway, Wimbledon, Surrey. She died Q2 1959 in Surrey aged 70.⁸
