John GALE (1863-1948)

John Henry GALE was born Q1 1863 in Putney, Surrey.¹ He and Elizabeth Caroline BOWERS had marriage banns published on 29 April 1883 in Putney.² He married her in May 1883 (estimated) in Putney.³ He appeared in the census on 5 April 1891 in Fulham, London aged 28.⁴ The address was: 6 Princes Mews, Fulham, London. On 5 April 1891 he was a Cabman.⁴ He appeared in the census on 31 March 1901 in Fulham aged 38.⁵ The address was: 18 Argon Mews, Fulham, London. On 31 March 1901 he was a Cab Proprietor.⁵ Employer, Worker, or Own account: Own account. John appeared in the census on 2 April 1911 in Fulham aged 48.⁶ The address was: 13 Brookville Road, Fulham, London. On 2 April 1911 he was a Cab Driver.⁶ In 1933 he lived in Fulham.⁷ The address was: 151 Munster Road, Fulham, London. He died Q3 1948 in Fulham aged 85.⁸
