Ethel Gertrude GALE, daughter of John Henry GALE (1863-1948) and Elizabeth Caroline BOWERS (1863-1935), was born on 17 April 1887 in Fulham, London.¹ She appeared in the census on 5 April 1891 in Fulham aged 3.² The address was: 6 Princes Mews, Fulham, London.
