Arthur James PELLING,¹ son of Edward Norwood PELLING (1835-1878?) and Mary POINTER (1833?- ), was born in April 1866 (estimated) in Putney, Surrey.^1,2,3 He was baptised on 20 May 1866 in Putney. The ceremony was conducted by A.A. Trimmer.² On 20 May 1866 he lived in Putney.² He appeared in the census on 2 April 1871 in Putney aged 5.¹ The address was: 1 Isabella Cottages, Cooper's Arms Lane, Putney, Surrey.
