George Edward PELLING,¹ son of Edward Norwood PELLING (1835-1878?) and Mary POINTER (1833?- ), was born in May 1863 (estimated) in Putney, Surrey.^1,2 He was baptised on 21 June 1863 in Putney. The ceremony was conducted by A.A. Trimmer.² On 21 June 1863 he lived in Putney.² He appeared in the census on 2 April 1871 in Putney aged 7.¹ The address was: 1 Isabella Cottages, Cooper's Arms Lane, Putney, Surrey.
